The IDR project team held a national consultantion workshop in Dhaka, Bangladesh that was hosted by Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS). Over 60 participants came from producers and users of statistics covering BBS, ministries, academia and the private sector.

During the workshop, participants made several requests for clarification on the impact of the IDR project on the National Strategies for the Development of Statistics (NSDS). Several questions were also raised about the method used for  country selection, how the project was linked to other initatives around the data revolution and how the data revolution will be financed.
